The whole deacidification process of the invention is basically conducted under an atmospheric condition, the method has the characteristics of safe operation, low requirement for vacuum degree and low cost, not only can deacidify acidic paper in the entire volume of archive and the whole book and make the pH value of the treated paper reach neutral and alkaline, but also does not cause yellowing of the alkaline paper in the entire volume of archive and the whole book, also can increase the folding endurance and tensile strength of alkaline paper, and the treated paper is difficult to lose water and can maintain for a long term, so that the aging resistance of the deacidified paper can be enhanced.
