The apparatus mainly comprises such portions as a central control module, a wireless communication module, a host computer, a reader-writer and the like. A passive electronic label with unique ID on a shelf is detected by controlling the RFID reader-writer arranged on a supermarket shopping cart by use of an ARM chip, then information is transmitted to the host computer through the externally connected wireless communication module, through big data processing, the stay positions and the loci of the consumers of the supermarket within one day, one week and even one month are obtained, the personnel density graph is obtained after the processing, supermarket managers, according to the graph, can determine most popular products, most crowded places and the like so as to adjust goods arrangement and shelf positions for reasonable distribution, such that supermarket space can be utilized to the maximum, the sale quantity of supermarket goods is increased, and consumer choices are diversified.
