In the positioning stage, firstly fingerprint information of the location of a user to be positioned is calculated, then a distance value between the fingerprint information of the location of the user to be positioned and the fingerprint information of each reference point location is calculated by using KL distance, and the location of the user to be positioned is acquired by using a K-nearest neighbor algorithm. The indoor positioning method makes full use of the frequency diversity between different sub-bands and the diversity between different antennas, the time stability and the space difference of a location characteristic fingerprint can be enhanced, and thus the positioning accuracy is improved.
