Abstract

The invention discloses a feeding device suitable for a sogatella furcifera injection method RNA interference experiment. The feeding device comprises a transparent plastic bottle and a matrix layer used for culturing rice; the matrix layer is located at the bottom in the transparent plastic bottle; an opening is formed in a the transparent plastic bottle body, a door body capable of preventing sogatella furcifera from flying out is hinged to the position, located on the opening, of the bottle body, an active carbon layer and a magnetic lock used in cooperation with the opening are arranged on the door body, a sampling opening is formed in the door body, and a sampling door is hinged to the sampling opening. When the feeding device is in use, the door body is opened, sogatella furcifera receiving specific gene dsRNA is put into the transparent plastic bottle from the door body, and the door body is closed; after 24-h culture, the phenotypic change of sogatella furcifera is observed, sogatella furcifera is sampled through the sampling opening at the interval of 24 h for 4-5 times, experiment results are recorded. The device is reasonable in structure and method setting and more suitable for using injection RNA interference for researching gene functions of sogatella furcifera.
