Disclosed is a cross-breeding method of wild and xiang pigs. The method specifically comprises the steps that pure wild boars are adopted as male parents, TiandongQilixiang sows, Bama miniature sows, Huanjiang Xiang sows and local earthy sows are adopted as female parents, and each xiang sow is mated with three wild boars alternately during oestrus. The new line pigs, the wild and xiang pigs, bred through the method are skin and bone in meat quality, thick in skin, tender, crisp, fresh in taste and strong in game flavor, and pork pig products have great features. Meanwhile, the defect that wild pigs are low in reproductive rate is overcome, two or more piglets can be produced during one year through the method, 10-15 produced piglets are generally kept per embryo, the bred piglets are high in survival rate, few in disease and easy to breed, the body, appearance and meat quality of the piglets can be compared favourably with those of the xiang pigs, the game flavor is stronger, and the pigs can be called treasures on tables. Therefore, the benefits for breeding the wild and xiang pigs are extremely remarkable.
