Abstract

The invention discloses a heat-decreasing and pain-relieving drug and a preparation method thereof. The heat-decreasing and pain-relieving drug contains the following components by weight: 50g-80g of rhizoma polygoni cuspidate, 5g-20g of rhizoma coptidis, 5g-15g of gardenia jasminoide and 5g-15g of mesona chinensis. The heat-decreasing and pain-relieving drug is capable of rapidly removing heat in a human body, effectively treating pain of headache, toothache, sore throat and the like, dredging intestines and stomach and improving constipation. The preparation method comprises the following process steps: (a) respectively airing rhizoma polygoni cuspidate, rhizoma coptidis, gardenia jasminoide and mesona chinensis to 75% of dryness; (b) after the airing, respectively drying the rhizoma polygoni cuspidate, rhizoma coptidis, gardenia jasminoide and mesona chinensis at a high temperature by virtue of a drying machine; (c) accurately weighing the rhizoma polygoni cuspidate, rhizoma coptidis, gardenia jasminoide and mesona chinensis, mixing the weighed rhizoma polygoni cuspidate, rhizoma coptidis, gardenia jasminoide and mesona chinensis to obtain a mixture, putting the mixture into a crushing machine, and grinding the mixture into mixed powder; and (d) preparing the granular drug from the mixed powder.
