Abstract

The invention relates to a PAPR suppression scheme based on precoding matrixes. The PAPR suppression scheme based on precoding matrixes includes the steps: theoretically, deriving the relation between the PAPR performance of a GFDM system and the autocorrelation function among data signals which are propagated at the same time slot; by means of transformation of linear matrixes, improving the distribution characteristics of PAPR, and obtaining three different precoding matrixes: DFT-Precoding, WHT-Precoding and DHT-Precoding, performing linear transformation on the input complex data signal, introducing phase scrambling codes, and reducing the instantaneous power of the GFDM signal by changing the correlation among the data symbols propagated on different carrier waves at the same time slot, so as to achieve the aim of reducing the system PAPR. The PAPR suppression scheme based on precoding matrixes can guarantee no sacrifice of BER performance while suppressing PAPR, and has no big influence on the frequency spectrum of the GFDM signal, wherein the theoretical analysis and the simulation result also verify the performance and the effect of PRPR suppression.
