[0051] The results of transcriptome sequencing analysis of yellow croaker showed that the dmrt1 gene was highly expressed in male individuals, but almost not expressed in female individuals. From invertebrates to vertebrates, the dmrt1 gene plays a crucial role in sex determination. Based on the conservation of the function of the gene, the inventors considered using the dmrt1 gene in the yellow croaker as an entry point to carry out the mining of sex-specific molecules in the croaker.
