Abstract

The invention provides a frequency hopping method, a frequency hopping device, a terminal and a baseband chip. The frequency hopping method, the frequency hopping device, the terminal and the baseband chip are suitable for a LTE system using an unauthorised frequency band. The frequency hopping method comprises the steps of: obtaining a broadcast message from a base station; according to the broadcast message, determining a target frequency hopping sequence, a current frequency hopping frequency point and the position of the current frequency hopping frequency point in the target frequency hopping sequence; and, according to the target frequency hopping sequence, the current frequency hopping frequency point and the position of the current frequency hopping frequency point in the target frequency hopping sequence, determining a subsequent frequency point. By means of the technical scheme in the invention, an unauthorised frequency spectrum is used; therefore, the communication cost is reduced; the effective frequency hopping method is provided for communication on the unauthorised frequency band; the frequency hopping success rate is increased; and thus, the communication performance is improved.
