The embodiment of the invention provides a communication method and device of the cellular internet of things. The method is applied to an evolution base station, and the evolution base station is connected with user equipment; a wireless frame is sent to the user equipment, wherein a target location is arranged in the wireless frame, the target location is used for carrying an indication signal of the user equipment, and the indication signal represents that the control information of the user equipment is existent in the wireless frame. A user equipment terminal can detect whether the indication signal of the user equipment is provided at the target location in the wireless frame, and then decides to perform the blind detection or end this detection to continuously detect the target location of the next wireless frame; therefore, the blind detection is avoided when the control information of the user equipment is inexistent.
