Abstract

The invention provides a detection method and device of coincidence events. The method comprises steps of successively receiving single event time acquired in each time slice; splicing the single event time acquired in the initial time segment of the latter time slice in adjacent two time slices with the single event time in the former time slice and carry out coincidence determination; and if thetwo single event time are arranged in the former time slice and the latter time slice respectively and the time intervals of the two single event time are in a coincidence time window, determining that the single events corresponding to the two single event time are coincidence events. According to the invention, loss of coincidence events of cross time slices is avoided and the counting rate oftrue coincidence events is improved.
