The preparation method comprises technical steps of: hot mixing, rolling, grinding, pressing, roasting, impregnating, graphitizing, rough machining, impregnating, solidifying, finish machining, impregnating, bonding by adhesive, solidifying and product inspecting. The electric locomotive pantograph carbon slide plate has the advantages of unique wear resisting and self-lubricating performance; low resistivity, small bonding resistance, strong ability for inhibiting spark, and good current carrying capacity, thus being suitable for working condition of high power and high current; uniform and compact structure, relatively high mechanical strength and impact resistance; and good corrosion resistance, thus being suitable for working in various environmental and climate conditions.
