Seven kinds of compounds are extracted from fenugreek; the several kinds of compounds are subjected to activity study; 3T3-L1 cells are used for building an insulin resistance (IR) module; the blood sugar lowering activity of the compound is further subjected to deep studyfrom the mitochondrion dysfunction level; the prevention and treatment mechanism of the seven compounds on diabetes mellitus is discussed. The result shows that the compound can inhibit the 3T3-L1 cell differentiation; the lipid droplet accumulation is inhibited; the TG content is reduced; the fat factor transcription level can be reduced through relevant signal paths; in addition, by lowering thelevel of ROS in the cells, the compound recovers the 3T3-L1 cell mitochondrion membrane potential; the generation of ATP in the cells is generated; the mitochondrion DNA injury is prevented; the mitochondrion generation is promoted.
