Abstract

The invention provides a data detection method and detection equipment. The detection equipment is arranged between a BMC (baseboard management controller) and an SPI (serial peripheral interface) flash in a connected manner. The data detection method includes receiving first instructions transmitted by the BMC; judging whether the first instructions are illegal write instructions or not; prohibiting the SPI flash from executing operation corresponding to the illegal write instructions if the first instructions are the illegal write instructions. The data detection method and the detection equipment have the advantages that the instructions transmitted from the BMC to the SPI flash can be detected, the SPI flash can be prohibited from executing the operation corresponding to illegal writeinstructions if the instructions transmitted from the BMC to the SPI flash are the illegal write instructions, and accordingly write protection on the SPI flash can be implemented.
