In order to sterilize a beverage supply device (1) provided with: a cold water tank (20) for storing cold water (50); a carbonation tank (30) disposed such that at least the bottom part thereof is immersed in the cold water (50) in the cold water tank (20), carbonated water (60) being generated by carbon dioxide being added to the cold water (50); a carbonated water take-out channel (35) for taking out the carbonated water (60) from the carbonation tank (30); and a heater (41) for heating the cold water (50) in the cold water tank (20), the cold water (50) in the cold water tank (20) is heatedto or above a prescribed temperature by the heater (41) to sterilize the cold water tank (20) and the carbonation tank (30), and the carbonated water (60) in the carbonation tank (30) is taken out via the carbonated water take-out channel (35), after which warm water (70) in the cold water tank (20) is cooled.
