Abstract

The invention provides a ramjet engine which comprises a combustion chamber. The expansion angle of the inner wall of the combustion chamber is gradually increased from the inlet end to the outlet ofthe combustion chamber. When the ramjet engine is started, fuel and oxidizing agent are supplemented for the combustion chamber according to the certain ratio and flow through a fuel supplementing device and an oxidizing agent supplementing device which are arranged on the inner wall of the combustion chamber, and therefore the fuel and the oxidizing agent are combusted in the combustion chamber to achieve thrust needed by the ramjet engine. Based on the ramjet engine, according to the requirements of an aircraft for thrust and specific impulse of the engine, the expansion angles of differentsections in the combustion chamber of the ramjet engine and fuel and oxidizing agent supplementing positions are reasonably set, the oxidizing agent and the fuel are supplemented according to the certain flow and ratio, the supplemented fuel in the combustion chamber is combusted while being mixed to evenly release energy, the high specific impulse and large thrust are achieved, and the working performance of the engine in a wide mach number range is optimal.
