Embodiment Construction

[0036] exist figure 1 A hearing aid device implemented as a tinnitus treatment device 2 is shown in . The tinnitus treatment device 2 is worn in operation at the ear 4 of a user suffering from tinnitus. The tinnitus treatment device 2 comprises a microphone 6 as an acoustic-to-electric converter and an earpiece 8 as an electrical-to-acoustic converter, and in particular a signal processing device 10 embodied for active sound compensation of one or more tinnitus frequencies.

[0037] The microphone 6 is arranged at the entrance 12 of the (external) ear canal 14 of the ear 4 . However, it is also conceivable for the microphone 6 to be arranged at least partially within the ear canal 14 . However, the earpiece 8 is always located further inside or deeper in the ear canal 14 than the microphone 6 . The ear canal 14 extends from the inlet 12 to the eardrum 16 of the user.

[0038] The or each tinnitus frequency of the user is stored in the memory 18 of the signal processing dev...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method operating a hearing aid device(2), in particular a tinnitus treatment device. The hearing device has a microphone(6) and a receiver(8), which can be inserted into anauditory canal(14) of a user or is arranged at least in part in the auditory canal(14). Wherein active noise control of an acoustic environmental signal(20), which can be received by the microphone(6), is achieved at one or more tinnitus frequencies of a user by generating an acoustic cancellation signal(26) from the receiver in the auditory canal of the user.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for operating a hearing aid device, in particular a tinnitus treatment device, which has a microphone and an earpiece which can be inserted into the ear canal of a user or is at least partially arranged in the ear canal. The invention also relates to a hearing device operable according to such a method. Background technique [0002] A hearing aid is a wearable hearing device for the hearing-impaired or hearing-impaired. In order to meet a large number of individual needs, hearing aids are available in different configurations, such as behind-the-ear hearing devices (HdO) and hearing devices with external earpieces (RIC: receiver in the canal (Receiver in the ear canal)) and inner ear hearing devices equipment (IdO), such as external ear hearing equipment or ear canal hearing equipment (ITE: In-The-Ear (inner ear), CIC: Completely-In-Channel (completely in-the-ear), IIC: Invisible-In -The-Channel (invisible in the ear...
