Problems solved by technology

This method needs to hang lamps, set up pots, transfer termite winged adults, observe and chase paired ants, and then catch them in a breeding container. There are many steps, time-consuming and laborious, and they must be collected in time after the trapping is completed. Medium termites have been artificially transferred many times, which can easily cause damage to winged adults and lead to breeding failure, and termites are easy to escape, difficult to handle, and difficult for unskilled people to operate. The adult termites that have been paired are scattered and re-paired, which may also affect the paired reproduction

Embodiment 1

[0023] Test time: evening of May 3, 2018, test location: Sun Yat-sen University, Haizhu District, Guangzhou

[0024] The method for collecting termite winged adults in this embodiment comprises the following steps:

[0025] (1) Take 43 pieces of kraft paper tubes with an inner diameter of 3mm, a wall thickness of 0.3mm, and a length of 6cm, arrange them neatly, and use sealing glue to stick a circle along the side wall of the paper tube roll to make the hole of the paper tube exposed. A paper tube wrapped in wallpaper paper, a total of 8 paper tubes were prepared;

[0026] (2) Before the termites segregate, fully moisten the paper tube prepared in step (1) to a state where the inner wall of the paper tube is wet but without water droplets, and place the wetted paper tube under a street lamp where termite adults segregate. Place the paper tubes near the wall, and put 2 paper tubes under each street lamp where termites fly;

[0027] (3) Collect the paper tube in the early morn...

[0030] The method for collecting termite winged adults in this embodiment comprises the following steps:

[0031] (1) Take 43 pieces of kraft paper tubes with an inner diameter of 3mm, a wall thickness of 0.3mm, and a length of 6cm, arrange them neatly, and use sealing glue to stick a circle along the side wall of the paper tube roll to make the hole of the paper tube exposed. A paper tube wrapped in wallpaper paper, a total of 12 paper tubes were prepared;

[0032] (2) Before the termites segregate, fully moisten the paper tube prepared in step (1) to a state where the inner wall of the paper tube is wet but without water droplets, and place the wetted paper tube under a street lamp where termite adults segregate. Place the paper tubes near the wall, and place 4 paper tubes under each street lamp where termites fly;

Embodiment 3

[0035] Test time: evening of May 15, 2018, test location: Sun Yat-sen University, Haizhu District, Guangzhou

[0036] The method for collecting termite winged adults in this embodiment comprises the following steps:

[0037] (1) Take 35 pieces of kraft paper tubes with an inner diameter of 2mm, a wall thickness of 0.6mm, and a length of 10cm, arrange them neatly, and use sealing glue to stick a circle along the side wall of the paper tube roll to make the hole of the paper tube exposed. A paper tube wrapped in wallpaper paper, a total of 14 paper tubes were prepared;

[0038] (2) Before the termites segregate, fully wet the paper tube prepared in step (1) to the state where the inner wall of the paper tube is wet but without water droplets, and bury the wetted paper tube horizontally in the place next to the street lamp where the termites segregate. In the soil under the tree, bury the lower part of the paper tube 10mm into the soil, and expose the upper part. Cover the upper...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for collecting winged adult termites. The method comprises the following steps: arranging kraft paper tubes neatly, making the paper tubes into paper barrels of whichthe openings of the paper tubes are exposed and gummed paper wraps the side walls or making the paper tubes into paper barrels of which the openings of one sides of the paper tubes are exposed, the openings of the other sides of the paper tubes are sealed and gummed paper wraps the side walls; then fully wetting the paper barrels before the termites fly, placing the paper barrels in soil under trees beside street lamps around wheel the termites fly or placing the paper barrels on sides of walls of buildings, and enabling the paper barrels to be close to tree trunks or wall sides, wherein 2-6 paper barrels are placed under each street lamp around which the termites fly; after flying of the termites is finished, collecting the paper barrels, and directly feeding the paper tubes with paired winged adult termites in a feeding container. The provided method is simple and speedy to operate, a large number of winged adult termites can be collected, injury of adult termites in a collecting process is avoided completely, the pairing success rate is greatly increased, materials are taken conveniently, and the cost is low.

Description

Technical field: [0001] The invention belongs to the field of insect breeding, and in particular relates to a method for collecting termite winged adults. Background technique: [0002] Termites are an ancient social insect. Since ancient times, people have recognized the food and medicinal value of termites. According to records, there was a habit of making ant paste as an imperial meal more than 3,000 years ago in my country (Annals of Animals). Some ethnic minorities in Yunnan still have the custom of eating termites. The medicinal value of termites has been recorded in medical books of all dynasties. For example, Li Shizhen's "Compendium of Materia Medica" in the Ming Dynasty once stated: "Termite mud is mainly used to treat malignant sores and swollen toxins. Use pine wood and yellow dan to fry black, grind and apply sesame oil, and it will heal immediately. .” Termites are developed as an insect resource and have very broad application prospects. However, looking fo...
