The audio function determination method includes steps: obtaining at least apair of source audio signals and in-ear-canal audio signals; analyzing a function relation between the at least one pair of source audio signals and the in-ear-canal audio signals, and obtaining a first transfer function of an audio playing device; processing the first transfer function by employing a preset first frequency response function, and obtaining a second transfer function, wherein thefirst frequency response function is obtained by modeling of a basilar membrane characteristic; and processing the second transfer function by employing a preset second frequency response function, and obtaining an equalization function for equalization processing of audio signals played by the audio playing device, wherein the second frequency response function is an expected transfer function ofthe audio playing device. Further, the audio playing device can perform equalization processing on audios according to the audio equalization method determined according to the above method.
