Abstract

Provided is an attachment 1 which is for a hair dryer and is mounted to a blow-out port of the hair dryer in a detachable manner, the attachment 1 being provided with: a cylindrical hood member 10 which has, on the base end side, a mounting part 14 for mounting to the blow-out port, and of which the tip end side is opened; and a cylindrical holding member 20 supported coaxially inside the hood member 10 so as to create a gap between the holding member 20 and the inside surface of the hood member 10. The holding member 20 has a plurality of air holes 22 in the outer circumferential surface thereof, and is configured such that a portion of warm air W1 supplied to the hood member 10 is introduced into the holding member 20 and merges, via the air holes 22, with warm air W2 flowing outside ofthe holding member 20.
