The method includes cleaning, soaking and cutting selected herba senecionis scandentis medicinal materials with intact rhizomes in sequence to obtain the cut herba senecionis scandentis medicinal materials to be boiled; performing two decocting operations on the cutherba senecionis scandentis medicinal materials to be boiled; mixing the first herba senecionis scandentis decoction extract and the second herba senecionis scandentis decoction extract to obtain herba senecionis scandentis medicinal material solution to be concentrated; pumping the solution into a medicinal material concentration kettle; performing two concentration operations successively; collecting and siphoning off steam discharged from the top of the medicinal material concentration kettle to obtain the herba senecionis scandentis medicinal material concentrated solution; filtering thesolution to obtain herba senecionis scandentis medicinal material solution to be evaporated; and finally laying the solution on a tray to preform an evaporation operation to obtain the extractum basedon extraction of the effective components of the herba senecionis scandentis.
