A beard trimmer which has a handle (104), a motor (106) and a removable head portion (110). The head portion comprises at least a first long hair cutter unit (130) for trimming the hair length that isprovided with a first, non-foil type outer cutter (140) and a first inner cutter (150). A first comb unit (171A) is provided, wherein the first comb unit comprises comb teeth (172), wherein a thickness of the comb teeth defines a comb hair trimming length.
