When a reader finds a book, the robot can autonomously navigate to the position of the book according to the position information corresponding to the book to guide the reader to find the book. Therobot scans the book bar codes on the whole bookshelf and compares the original position information to judge whether the books are wrongly shelved, thereby realizing wrong-shelved book management. Facilities of an existing library are changed a little, only bar codes of original books need to be added to the spine, and meanwhile certain space is reserved between bookshelves for the robot to moveautonomously.
