The invention discloses a book management system for a library, which comprises a monitoring device arranged on a bookshelf in the library, electronic tags attached to each book on the bookshelf and alibrary server, wherein the monitoring device is internally provided with a microprocessor, a radio frequency signal receiving circuit, an A/D conversion circuit, a wireless transmission module, a touch screen and a power supply circuit, the radio frequency signal receiving circuit receives radio frequency signals sent by each electronic tag and transmits the radio frequency signals to the A/D conversion circuit which converts the radio frequency signals into digital signals, and the A/D conversion circuit transmits the digital signals to the microprocessor; the power supply circuit comprisesa DC power supply, a voltage input end, a voltage output end, a first triode, a second triode, a third triode, a fourth triode, a first resistor, a second resistor, a first voltage stabilizing diode,a second voltage stabilizing diode, a third diode and a first capacitor. The book management system is simple in circuit structure, low in cost and high in circuit safety and reliability.
