Abstract

The invention discloses five rhodotorula glutinis sir2 homologous genes capable of prolonging service life of cells and an application of products of the five rhodotorula glutinis sir2 homologous genes, which belongs to the technical field of biology. According to the invention, five rhodotorula glutinis sir2 homologous genes hst3, hst4, sirtuin 1, sirtuin 2 and sirtuin 4 with prolonged cell lifeare knocked out in rhodotorula glutinis to observe the effect of the rhodotorula glutinis sir2 homologous genes. The experimental results show that knockout of the five genes can shorten the life of yeast cells; bacterial fat accumulation is reduced, ATP generation influence is reduced, key enzyme activity in TCA circulation is reduced, the product has functions of yeast cell life prolonging, ATPgeneration improving and key enzyme activity increasing in TCA circulation, and a new idea is provided for cell aging treatment.
