Abstract

A calibration system for media content includes memory, media devices, a number of different types of sensors, and control circuits. The memory is configured to store a media item and desired sentiment tagging metadata for the media item. The control circuitry is configured to calculate a reaction delay of a first emotional response of a viewer to a first scene of a media item captured by a plurality of different types of sensors relative to the position of the first marker. A first scene of a media item spans a first time slot corresponding to a first scene in the media item. The control circuit is configured to calibrate the position of the first marker based at least on the calculated reaction delay to associate a first set of frames of the first scene with the first emotional response.
