The invention provides a method for preparing high-quality gypsum. The comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out acid leaching treatment on scheelite raw materials so as to obtain acid leachingproduct tungsten slag, wherien the acid leaching treatment adopts a mixture of sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid, and the tungsten-containing raw materials comprise scheelite; (2) filtering the acid-leached tungsten slag to obtain a filter cake; (3) carrying out first modification treatment on the filter cake by adopting a solution containing calcium hydroxide so as to obtain a first modificationtreatment product; (4) carrying out second modification treatment on the first modification treatment product by adopting a solution containing hydrogen peroxide so as to obtain a second modificationtreatment product; and (5) calcining the second modified product to obtain the high-quality gypsum.
