The rootstock selecting method includes the following steps that S1, the domestic main varietiesare selected, and scion materials are further selected; periphery, middle and upper branches of the annual different domestic main varieties of cerasus are selected and used as grafting scions; S2, the scions are treated, and the scions are collected when the cherry blossoms of the cerasus do not yet bud and refrigerated at low temperature; S3, rootstocks are selected, and the selected rootstock species include Cerasus serrulata rootstocks, Prunus conradinae rootstocks, and Prunus dielsiana Schneid rootstocks; S4, a grafting operation is carried out when the rootstocks begin to sprout; S5, management is carried out after grafting, and in the later period, after incisions are healed, bandages can be removed; and S6, the grafting success rate of different domestic mainly-planted varieties ofcerasus on different types of rootstocks is counted and recorded.
