The invention discloses a permanent magnet synchronous motor parameter identification method based on an improved salp swarm algorithm, and the method comprises the following steps: initializing related parameters, and randomly initializing each group of parameter vectors in a parameter identification range; calculating the identification degree of each group of parameter vectors according to thefitness function, and defining the parameter vector with the highest identification degree as an optimal parameter F; updating the first group of parameters according to a formula; updating the following parameters through a normal cloud model formula; correcting the parameter vectors exceeding the identification range; and recalculating the corresponding identification degree according to the current parameter vector, and updating the optimal parameter F. According to the method, the dq-axis voltage, current and angular velocity of the permanent magnet synchronous motor are obtained through measurement, and parameters of the permanent magnet synchronous motor can be quickly, stably and accurately identified by utilizing an improved salp swarm algorithm.
