According to the microfiber leather and the preparation method thereof, the additives are added during preparation of the ultrafine fibers, so that by using theultrafine fiber base cloth prepared from the ultrafine fibers, when in subsequent splitting treatment,the splitting treatment conditions can be reduced, then the hydrolysis degree of the aqueous polyurethane during the splitting treatment process can be reduced, and thus the finally prepared microfiber leather has good quality performance.
