Abstract

The invention relates to a backing tape supporting device for laying a thermosetting composite material prepreg tape, and belongs to the technical field of advanced composite material automatic manufacturing device. The backing tape supporting device comprises a transmission mechanism, a pressing and sticking mechanism, an automatic tensioning mechanism and a tension force detection mechanism, wherein the transmission mechanism is provided with a driving wheel used for driving a backing tape and a driver used for driving the driving wheel to rotate, and is further provided with a heating unitused for preheating the backing tape; the pressing and sticking mechanism is used for pressing and sticking the prepreg tape in an unwinding conveying path on the backing tape, and automatically controlling the time point of pressing and sticking according to the requirement of the laying time period; the automatic tensioning mechanism is provided with a tensioning wheel which supports the backingtape together with the driving wheel, the driving wheel and the tensioning wheel are located at the upper end of the backing tape, and a pressing roller is arranged at the lower end of the backing tape; and the tension force detection mechanism is used for detecting the tension force of the backing tape so as to detect the tension force of the prepreg tape adhered to the backing tape. The prepregtape does not need to be supported by backing paper in the advancing process, so that a shearing mechanism is simplified.
