Embodiment Construction

[0035]The embodiment of the present disclosure describes a wireless listening device that implements improved user comfort and acoustic performance. The wireless listening device can be configured to adapt to one of the left ear and right ear of the user to output sound to the user to output sounds. In some cases, the wireless listening device can include a housing and an ear insert to the outer casing. The outer casing can include a rigid outer structure that enclosing various electrical components (e.g., batteries, processors, drivers, etc.) of the wireless listening device. The external structure can include an opening, and the generated sound can be output to the ear insert by the opening, which can then guide the sound into the user's ear canal. The ear plug can be a substantially flexible, but including a hard attachment mechanism, the hard attachment mechanism enables the ear insert to be easily attached to the outer casing by inserting into an outer structure.

Abstract

An eartip (600) includes an eartip body having an attachment end (614) and an interfacing end (612) opposite from the attachment end (614), and includes an inner eartip body (606) and an outer eartip body (608). The inner eartip body (606) has a sidewall that extends between the interfacing end (612) and the attachment end (614), and includes a groove (602) formed in an outer surface of the sidewall. The outer eartip body (608) is sized and shaped to be inserted into an ear canal and extends from the interfacing end (612) toward the attachment end (614) of the eartip (600).

Description

[0001]Cross-reference [0002]This patent application claims priority to the US Non-Primary Patent Application No. 16 / 584,940, filed on September 26, 2019, the US Temporary Patent Application No. 62 / 823, 592, filed on March 25, 2019 The equity, the entire disclosure is incorporated herein by reference. Background technique[0003]In-ear audio devices can be used with various electronic devices, such as portable media players, smart phones, tablets, laptops, stereo systems, and other types of devices. In-ear listening devices have been included in one or more small components configured to be placed in the user's ear, a drive that outputs sound through the component and electrically connected to the ear listening device to the audio source. Other incoming ear audio devices may be wireless devices that do not include a cable but wirelessly receive audio data streams wirelessly from a wireless audio source. Such inclusions can include, for example, a wireless earphones or an in-ear hearin...
