Abstract

The invention discloses an application of cinnamic acid in preparation of drugs for treating myelosuppression caused by an antitumor drug. The antitumor drug is cyclophosphamide. The content of cinnamic acid in the drug is 6-24 mg / kg. The cinnamic acid is applied to myelosuppression caused by the antitumor drug cyclophosphamide for the first time. Results show that the cinnamic acid can increase the number of leukocytes and platelets in peripheral blood of mice, and reduce peripheral hemogram decline caused by cyclophosphamide; and the number of karyocytes in mouse bone marrow can be increased. The cinnamic acid is proved to have a protective effect on cyclophosphamide induced myelosuppression, and a new thought is provided for prevention and treatment of myelosuppression caused by antitumor drugs.
