The injection head assembly is configured to be inserted into a distal opening of the injector main body and to reach a locked position relative to the injector main body. The injection head assembly is configured to prevent axial separation of the end cap and the injection head main body when the injection head assembly is inserted into the distal opening of the injector main body but does not reach the locked position; and when the locking position is reached, the injection head assembly is configured to prevent axial relative displacement of the injection head main body and the injector main body and allow axial separation of the end cap and the injection head main body. The end cap is prevented from being taken down under the condition that the injection head main body is virtually connected to the far end of the injector main body, and the safety coefficient of operation is improved. The invention further provides some preferable arrangements to avoid loss of parts of the injection head assembly, so that the operation is more sanitary.
