Abstract

The invention provides a method for measuring the internal temperature of a cable joint based on microwave radiation measurement. A microwave radiometer is placed above a cable joint to measure a microwave radiation signal at the cable joint; the microwave radiometer is connected with the computer; when a change-over switch of the microwave radiometer is switched to a cold source and a heat source respectively, the microwave radiometer outputs corresponding cold source voltage and heat source voltage respectively and transmits the cold source voltage and the heat source voltage to a computer for calibration processing, and gain and offset of a channel of the microwave radiometer are obtained; switching a switch of the microwave radiometer to an antenna end, measuring a microwave radiation signal at the cable joint by the microwave radiometer, converting the measured signal into voltage, and transmitting the voltage to a computer; the computer calculates the brightness temperature of the cable joint according to the output voltage of the microwave radiometer and the gain and offset of the channel; and the computer obtains the conductor temperature in the cable joint through brightness temperature data inversion. According to the invention, the temperature of the conductor in the cable joint can be measured in real time in a non-contact manner.
