Benefits of technology

This patented technology produces artificially made layers on top surfaces of eye lenses called keratocytes (the main part of this layer). These layers help regulate how light enters through them when they are worn out over time. They make it easier to see things clearly even if there may still be problems such as blindsighted eyes caused by tiny blood vessels inside their own retina. Additionally, these layers improve visibility without requiring multiple treatments like laser treatment. Overall, this new type of prosthetic device helps restore sight lost from diseases affecting the outermost parts of our body.

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical solution described involves creating an eye bank called LCSCAR-1, which includes layers made up of keratoepitheliusis substances like neocortex shedding off new ones due to injury or disease. These layers help regenerate lost eyes through different mechanisms including autoimmunity, fibroblasts, collagen synthesis, angiogenesis, etc., resulting in better visual function without requiring multiple surgeries overall.

Embodiment Construction

[0028] The content of the invention will be further described below in conjunction with the Guanzhong dairy goat as the experimental model.

[0029]1. Production of model animals: select 3-4 year old healthy adult Guanzhong dairy goats without eye diseases, intramuscularly inject 2.4ml-2.6ml of veterinary 846 mixture for general anesthesia, and disinfect around the eyes with iodine. Lying sideways on Baoding, laying surgical drapes, eyelid opening with eyelid speculum, double antibiotic saline (penicillin sulfate 2×10 5 u / L, streptomycin 200mg / L) to flush the ocular surface and conjunctival sac, 5ml each of 2% lidocaine hydrochloride and 1.3% bupivacaine hydrochloride, and retrobulbar anesthesia. Under the ophthalmic operating microscope, cut the bulbar conjunctiva and subconjunctival fascia circularly along the limbus of the operated eye to expose the sclera. The sclera 1mm outside the limbus and the remaining conjunctiva, the limbus and the corneal epithelial tissue 2mm ins...

Abstract

This invention discloses the preparation for artificial corneal epithelium implants made up of skin dry cells and a usage in transplanting and repairing a blind eye skinsbecause of defecting limbus corneae dry cells. The artificial corneal epithelium implant applies skins of adult neck or milk goat ear edge in asepsis to purify skin dry cells with TC and clone selection, amplification with serum-free medium and detect the got dry cells with CK19, P63, integrin-beta1, label protein immune tissue then to vaccinate the purified dry cells on to human amnion frame of depithelial cell nurtured by serum-free medium for 21days. The cells are separated on the amnion to form stratified layers and become cell amnion implants. The cells are divided into 5-6 layers having the structure of normal cornea epithelia.
