Abstract

A variable capacity rotary compressor, can prevent locking pins from fluff from fixed holes because of the minor vibration generated during the operation time of the rotating compressor. The rotary compressor includes: upper and lower compression chambers; a rotating shaft; an upper and a lower eccentric cams mounted to the rotating shaft; an upper and a lower eccentric bushings respectively set up on the upper and lower eccentric cams; a slot between the upper and the lower eccentric bushings; and locking pins fixed in the fixed holes formed in the rotation axis, for selectively switching the upper and lower eccentric bushings to a maximum eccentric rotation position. The locking pins are provided with locking protuberances, which extend in an opposite direction of the fixed direction. The fixed holes are provided with locking chutes, wherein the locking protuberances engage in them, when the locking pins are fixed in the fixed holes, the locking pins will not rotate along the fluff direction. Therefore, when a slight vibration is transferred to the locking pins, the locking pins will not fluff from the fixed holes.
