AI Technical Summary

Benefits of technology

The present invention provides a cover for upholstered furniture that includes a top panel and a back panel that extends over the furniture piece. The back panel has sections that cover the front and rear surfaces of the furniture piece, providing protection and comfort for the back. The cover also provides a simple and effective solution to protect and maintain the furniture's cushion.

Problems solved by technology

Although unfitted covers are inexpensive and can be used for many types and sizes of furniture, it is difficult to make them look neat and hold their position on the furniture.
This makes it difficult to achieve a smooth finish, and to maintain the desired look after the furniture has been used.
