With the application of the method, by effectively conducting multi-stage enlarge cultivation on single-filament algae, pure species free from miscellaneous bacteria or miscellaneous algae can be obtained.

The invention relates to the development and application technology of spirulina, and aims to provide a method for identifying spirulina strains with favorable production traits. The method provided by the invention comprises the steps of enhancing genomic DNA (deoxyribose nucleic acid) of a candidate strain by a special primer HIPS-TC, and establishing a dendrogram of the spirulina strains by adopting NTSYpc2.1 software after electrophoretic analysis. If the candidate strains have 1130bp, 620bp, 580bp and 540bp special DNA electrophoretic bands, and can be compounded with the existing strain with favorable production traits, the production traits of the candidate strains are favorable, and are suitable for large scale cultivation and production. If the candidate strains have 1190bp, 780bp, 580bp,520bp, and 470bp special DNA electrophoretic bands, and can be compounded with the existing strain with poor production traits, the production traits of the candidate strains are poor, and are not suitable for large scale cultivation and production. Compared with the common method, the method for identifying spirulina strains with favorable production traits in the invention has the advantages of simpleness, fast speed, efficiency and low cost, and is suitable for large-scale and high throughput screening.
