The device comprises a flue gas outlet, a fireproof cloth, at least four first telescopic casing pipes and a cuboid connecting frame which is composed of at least four second telescopic casing pipes, at least four springs and at least four support columns and used for being installed at an exhaust outlet of the ventilation pavilion in a matched mode; one end of each first telescopic casing pipe is fixed to one support column, and the other ends of the first telescopic casing pipes are connected to the flue gas outlet; the fireproof cloth is arranged in a space formed by the first telescopic casing pipes and the cuboid connecting frame and forms a flue gas exhaust channel together with the first telescopic casing pipes, the cuboid connecting frame and the flue gas outlet, and flue gas exhausted out of the exhaust outlet of the ventilation pavilion is induced to be directionally exhausted. The universal-type flue gas short circuit preventing device is reasonable in design and convenient to use and can effectively solve the flue gas short circuit problem that under the fire working condition, fire flue gas exhausted out of the subway ventilation pavilion massively spreads and invades a new subway ventilation pavilion and ground entrances and exits by serving as temporarily and additionally mounted equipment of the subway ventilation pavilion.
