The method includes the steps that a DSLAM acquires the password information of a set-top box account, and transmits the password information to BRAS for authentication judgment, the BRAS is connected with the DSLAM through the set-top box; when the user requests a certain media flow information in the IPTV operation, the set-top box sends request information to the DSLAM, and transmits the request information to the BRAS; the BRAS captures the request information and judges; when the BRAS responds allowance to join, the DSLAM judges whether the address is contained in the received multicast code flow; when being not, a broadband router sends the request information to an aggregation layer network, the aggregation layer network sends a corresponding multicast group to the broadband router, and a broadband transmits the multicast group to the DSLAM, the DSLAM duplicates the multicast group; a port number connected by the set-top box establishes a correspondence relationship with the multicast group, and sends the multicast code flow to the set-top box for decoding andplaying.
