Embodiment Construction

[0071] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 , 2 and 3 show preferred embodiments of the damper element of the present invention.

[0072] As shown in FIG. 1 , the rotating shaft 10 is rotatably supported by a rolling bearing (ball bearing) 20 . The rolling bearing 20 is fitted and held in a housing (mounting base) 40 .

[0073] The rolling bearing 20 includes an inner ring 21 , an outer ring 22 and balls 23 . A slit 31 having a small width (for example, a width of 0.2 mm) is formed between the inner surface (rolling surface) 22a and the outer surface 22b of the outer ring 22 (solid portion, within the thickness of the outer ring).

[0074] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 , the slit 31 extends continuously for approximately two weeks in the substantially circumferential direction of the outer ring 22 , and is formed in a planar shape extending along the entire axial length of the outer ring 22 . More specifically, th...

Abstract

The damper element of the present invention is a damper element of a bearing disposed between a rotating body and a support body, and includes a slit formed between the inner surface and the outer surface of a cylindrical body fixed to the support body, and a slit filled into the slit. Viscous fluid inside the slit. The slit extends substantially in the circumferential direction of the cylindrical body. The cylindrical body is, for example, an outer ring or an inner ring of a rolling bearing, a sliding bearing, or a sleeve for holding a bearing.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a damper element of a bearing having a damping effect (vibration damping effect). [0002] this application claims priority based on Japanese Patent Application No. 2005-242428 for which it applied on August 24, 2005, and uses the content here. Background technique [0003] In a structure in which the rotating shaft is supported by bearings, the structure including the bearing and the rotating shaft resonates in the natural rotational speed range of the rotating shaft (see characteristic G in FIG. 18 ), generating vibration noise. Furthermore, if the magnitude of the vibration becomes a rotation speed (critical rotation speed) exceeding a safe value (see a in FIG. 18 ), the structure may be damaged. [0004] In general, in order to obtain the relatively safe rotation characteristics shown by H in FIG. 18 , it is necessary to thicken the rotation shaft or suppress the rotation speed of the rotation shaft. If the bearing is sup...
