Abstract

The invention discloses a wireless sensor network positioning method based on unit grids, and the method is used for estimating the location of an undetermined location node through the intersection of a plurality of coverage areas based on the constraint from anchor nodes in a unit grid model to the communication coverage range thereof. A location constraint relationship also exists between nodes, the anchor node beacon information of which is not detected and received, and the anchor nodes, namely in the complementary set of the anchor node communication coverage range. The invention improves the location estimating precision, especially the precision and the algorithm coverage capacity of the sparse node location. The calculating and communicating expenses of the locating process are greatly reduced, and the requirements to the anchor node density are decreased; and the calculating complexity of each node is independent of the network scale and has strong anti-interference ability and certain application value, thereby effectively satisfying the requirements to the high-precision distributed location of the wireless sensor network.
