Abstract

The invention provides a method for vehicles to pass through an intersection in a plane, and belongs to the technical field of traffics. The intersection structurally comprises a straight turning pavement and a by-pass reversing pavement. The central parts of the by-pass reversing pavement on two sides of the straight turning pavement are provided with a roadblock respectively, and the central parts at two ends of the straight turning pavement are correspondingly provided with N turning lanes. The by-pass reversing pavements positioned on two sides of the straight turning pavement are provided with a reversing lane respectively, the reversing lanes are positioned at the outsides of the two roadblocks respectively, and the reserving vehicles on the by-pass reversing pavement realize the aim of reversing through the reversing lanes. Compared with the prior art, the method for the vehicles to pass through the intersection in the plane not only solves the problems of right turning, direct moving, left turning and reversing of the vehicles, but also solves the problems of large overpass volume, more removed buildings, high manufacturing cost and difficult building of overpasses at crowded intersections in cities due to dense buildings.
