Abstract

A lifting tilting flapgate relates to a gate used in hydraulic engineering and comprises a gate leaf and a gate pier, wherein beams at two sides of the gate leaf are respectively provided with a protruding hanger shaft and an upper and a lower protruding cantilever roller wheel; and the gate pier is provided with two vertical gate slots respectively matched with respective corresponding lower cantilever roller wheels and two tracks respectively matched with respective corresponding upper cantilever roller wheels. The lower cantilever roller wheel can be used as a trunnion so that the gate leaf can rotate around the center of the trunnion, or the lower cantilever roller wheel can roll in the gate slot so that the gate leaf can rise and tilt out of the water surface to overhaul position. The regular start or close operation of a gate is the same as that of the flapgate. When overhaul is needed and the gate is in close position, the upper cantilever roller wheel of the gate is put in place and the gate topples over to form a lifting tilting gate.
