Abstract

The present invention discloses an electric panel heater, wherein a first panel unit (U1) and a second panel unit (U2) are provided with a hollow frame (1) having a radiating opening (4) on the front face, a protective device (3) for covering the radiating opening (4), a face-shaped heating body (5) arranged inside the frame (1) and radiating from the radiating opening (4), and a heat-shield member (2) arranged inside the frame (1) and on the back of the face-shaped heating body (5) respectively. A hinge mechanism (7) is connected with the frames (1) of the first Panel unit (U1) and the second panel unit (U2) in a manner that a spreading angle between the frames (1) of the first Panel unit (U1) and the second panel unit (U2) may be adjusted. A first temperature super-rising prevention device (8) is arranged at a position of a side wall of the frame (1) of the first panel unit (U1) on the upper of the frame (1) nearby the hinge mechanism (7). Furthermore, a second temperature super-rising prevention device (8a) is arranged at the position near the side wall opposite to the side wall of the frame (1) provided with the hinge mechanism (7) on the upper of the frame (1) of the second panel unit (U2).
