The electric type power steering device comprises an electric steering mechanism, a sensor shaft and an upper shaft, wherein the electric steering mechanism is provided with an output shaft; the upper end of the sensor shaft is connected with the output shaft; the lower end of the sensor shaft is connected with the upper end of the upper shaft; the side part of the upper shaft is provided with a locking hole in which a locking pin can be inserted; and the output shaft is connected with the upper shaft by an axial positioning structure, and the sensor shaft and the upper shaft can rotate by the drive of the output shaft. When the axial acting force exerted by the axial positioning structure islarger than a set value, the axial positioning structure is invalid and enables the lower end part of the sensor shaft and the lower end part of the upper shaft to be axially abutted, and the lower end part of the sensor shaft at least can reach the locking hole.
