Problems solved by technology

[0007] Therefore, the conventional method of using concrete supports to support a brick wall is time-consuming, labor-intensive and requires three different craftsmen (carpenters, rebar workers, and concrete injectors) in addition to bricklayers to construct the wall itself

Embodiment Construction

[0035] figure 1 A section of a wall 1 is shown supported by vertical stiffeners 2 (only one shown) interconnected by horizontal stiffeners 3 (only two shown). connect. like figure 1 As shown in , the vertical stiffener 2 supports three sections 4, 5, 6 of the wall 1, and said sections 4, 5, 6 are adjacent to the vertical edge of the vertical stiffener 2 by a plurality of tie rods 7 is mechanically connected to this reinforcement 2 .

[0036] The vertical stiffener 2 is connected at its upper and lower ends to an upper support 8 and to a lower support 9 by means of a connector 10, respectively. Besides, each end of the horizontal reinforcement 3 is connected to the side of the vertical reinforcement 2 by a connector 11 .

[0037] Each of the vertical stiffener 2 and the horizontal stiffener 3 comprises two generally "C" shaped protrusions 30, 31 which are connected to each other by, for example, welding to form a hollow box section, as figure 2 shown in . The central sid...

Abstract

The invention discloses a supporting member system, which comprises a group of elongate members (2). Each elongate member (2) is provided with a first tail end (53) and a second tail end and has a preset length. The preset length of each elongate member (2) is different from that of each of the other elongate members (2). A tail end member (10) is provided with elongate member joint parts (12 and 13) which are used for jointing the first tail end (53) of the elongate member (2), and a supporting structure joint part (15). The supporting structure joint part (15) is used for jointing a supporting structure (8). The elongate member joint parts (12 and 13) allow the distance from a wall joint part (15) to the second tail end of the elongate member (2) to be adjusted, and at least adjusted to the length of an adjacent longer elongate member (2) in the group.

Description

[0001] This application is a divisional application of the invention patent application with the filing date being May 16, 2002, the application number being 02829283.9, and the invention title being "supporting member system". technical field [0002] The present invention relates to a support member system, and more particularly for at least partially supporting a wall. Background technique [0003] Walls constructed of bricks and other building or building blocks, such as concrete, have a constructable maximum length and height at which they may not require additional supports to prevent the wall from collapsing. Typically, a brick wall is supported by concrete supports set up along the brick wall, the concrete supports being set up both horizontally and vertically to support the wall. When the brick wall needs to be mechanically bonded to the concrete support, its traditional implementation uses metal rods, which are fixed to the cement part of the brick wall and to the ...
