Abstract

The invention discloses a production method of foldable cassettes and a die for one-step moulding. The method comprises the steps of adopting a punch press and a die and automatically feeding tape, i.e. workpiece material, to the die by using a manually-operated feeder or a pneumatic feeder according to preset steps. The invention is characterized in that the adopted die is the die for one-step moudling. The production based on the die for one-step moulding comprises the following work steps: the first work step: cutting tape tails, punching three holds, and punching characters or signs; the second work step: cutting edges of the tape tails; the third work step: cutting tape heads and bending the tape tails primarily; the fourth work step: cutting edges of the tape heads and bending the tape tails secondly; the fifth work step: bending the tape tails and the tape heads; and the sixth work step: overlapping the tape tails and separating. The production method of the foldable cassettes, obtained by the invention, has the advantages as follows: one 25-on punch press is needed, the motor power is 2.2 Kw, a finished product can be obtained after one working procedure during operation process, and one person is enough for the operation; only one circulation link is needed, one set of transfer device is occupied, and the auxiliary working hours of incoming and outgoing workpieces are just one sixth of that of the prior art during punching.
