Abstract

The invention relates to a prism and an instrument having the prism and generating multi-beam laser. The prism is used for converting incident laser into the multi-beam laser and comprises a total-transmission bottom surface, a top surface and a total-transmission side surface, wherein the top surface is parallel to the bottom surface; the side surface is vertical to the bottom surface; the bottom surface is an incident surface; the prism also comprises a transflective surface which forms a 45-degree angle with the bottom surface; and the top surface is divided into two parts by the transflective surface, wherein the part which receives the laser transmitted through the transflective surface is a total-reflection surface and the other part is a total-transmission surface. The prism and the instrument having the prism and generating the multi-beam laser overcome the defects that a light beam is complex to calibrate and the cost is high in the conventional instrument generating the multi-beam laser, and provide the instrument which is simple to calibrate the light beam, has low cost and generates the multi-beam laser.
